More often than not, an infraction at the House is relatively minor, in the sense that no substances or safety risks are involved. However, this “breaking of the rules” is definitely a problem in the sense that it concerns the moral and ethical formation of these young men under our care. Since we believe in justice, these problems are addressed as well. You see, the residents quickly develop relationships with each other that closely resembles college roommates. So the typical roommate or housemate problems have a tendency to develop. Whether it’s snagging someone else’s shit out of the fridge, using someone’s toothpaste, furtively bumming a cigarette or what have you, it always leads to friction.
